TERMS

Terms of service

The short version: we find problems and suggest fixes, nothing changes in your store without your approval or rules you set, and our numbers are estimates — not promises.

LAST UPDATED: 3 NOVEMBER 2026

1. Agreement

These terms apply to the CheckoutLeak Shopify app (“the app”), the website checkoutleak.com and the early-access waitlist (together, “the service”). By installing the app or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service for a business, you accept these terms on its behalf. The service is provided by:

[Company legal name and address — to be added]

2. The service

CheckoutLeak analyses your Shopify store’s discounts, products, prices and checkout activity, shows findings ranked by estimated impact and recommends what to fix. Depending on your plan, it can apply fixes you approve and, with Revenue Autopilot, act within limits you set. We may improve, change or retire features over time; we will not remove a core feature of a paid plan during a billing cycle you have paid for.

The standalone version and any feature described as “planned” or “coming later” is not yet available and may change before launch.

3. Early access and the waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not create an account or an obligation for either of us. We will use your email only to tell you about early access, as described in our privacy policy. Early-access versions may have rough edges and may change quickly.

4. Plans and billing

  • App plans are priced in USD and billed through Shopify. You approve every charge in Shopify before it starts.
  • Any free trial, and its length, is shown in Shopify when you choose a plan.
  • You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the app or by uninstalling. Charges already made are handled under Shopify’s billing terms.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. A new price applies from your next billing cycle after the notice.

5. Changes to your store

Scans are read-only. The app changes discounts and products only through fixes you approve or Autopilot rules you switch on, and verifies each change in Shopify so it can be undone. You remain responsible for your store, its settings and the decisions you approve, including Autopilot rules and the limits you set for them.

6. Estimates, not guarantees

Findings, impact figures and recovery estimates are calculated from your store’s data and reasonable assumptions. They are estimates and may be wrong. We do not guarantee any increase in revenue, conversion or margin. AI-written suggestions can contain mistakes; review them before you approve them. Figures shown on our website are illustrative sample data.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no access to stores you are not authorised to manage, and no use that breaks the law or Shopify’s terms.

8. Your data

Your store data stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to provide and improve the service, as described in our privacy policy. We never sell it.

9. Our service

CheckoutLeak, its software, design and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while these terms apply.

10. Third-party services

The app runs on Shopify and relies on other providers listed in our privacy policy. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. CheckoutLeak is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where they apply.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these terms, or end the service with reasonable notice. After you uninstall, your data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.

13. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the provider named in section 1 is established, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
